About

Emma Rosen and her husband live in Kent with their three adorable children and a silly dog.

Balancing her time with working as a biology teacher, Emma writes non-fiction and children’s books. She has particular interests in marine ecology, early parenting and creative small businesses. Emma has degrees in marine biology and in education.

Emma is passionate about breastfeeding support and volunteers as a breastfeeding counsellor at a local group. When she’s not writing or relaxing with her family, Emma makes YouTube videos, spends time by the sea and sings in a band.

Plymouth City Book Launch

I worked with Natural England to produce Secret Seagrass Meadows, launched with a series of school visits and an event at Plymouth Central Library. Books were given to all the primary schools and libraries in the area.

Successful Kickstarter Campaign

Milk and Cookies was funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2021. I am extremely grateful to all the backers whose support enabled this book to be published.

IWD speaker

In 2020 I was asked to be a speaker for International Women's Day at Deal Town Council along with a group of fantastic and inspiring women.

MK Breastfeeding Festival

My first big event was as a vendor at the Breastfeeding Festival in Milton Keynes in 2019. I also met lots of people I greatly admire!
