"We live near the sea and kelp washes up on the beach with other things also in the book so it's lovely to have a picture book that explains what that stuff is!"

Dive into an underwater habitat with this beautiful story.

Sponsored by Natural England, this is the first book in the 'Discovering Marine and Coastal Habitats' series for children.

Books are signed by the author and supplied with a matching bookmark. (If you would like the book signed to somebody in particular or with a special message, please add text at checkout or send me a message)

Imagine that you’re floating

On a current in the sea.

Swaying underneath you

There’s a forest of tall leaves.

Drift through a Captivating Kelp Forest.

What is kelp? What creatures make kelp forests their home? Why do we need to protect these underwater forests?

Author Emma Rosen and artist Rhiannon Thomas team up for another beautiful rhyming story that children will want to read again and again.

Suitable for ages 4-7

Fabulous

I’ve bought these two books for my grandsons, I adore them. They are beautifully written in rhyme and the illustrations are lovely. They introduce children to how we are connected to the ecosystem of the sea. They introduce important concepts in a positive inspiring way..
