Delightful book in verse. I bought 2 for My two 6 year old Great Grandchildren for Christmas. They will love it. Packed with easily understood information and facts. Start them young to appreciate what is under their feet! Thoroughly recommend this book.

Gorgeous books. My granddaughter really enjoys Emma’s books and asks lots of questions about the creatures and plants; we spend a good while looking these up on the internet and watching little videos to ‘see’ them in real life. Particular favourites this time were ‘kelp’, bryozoans’, ‘gurnards’, ‘sea grass’ and ‘cuttlefish’. Thank you, Emma for dedicating and signing the books, lovely wrapping and swift delivery.

I enjoyed reading it before giving it to my grandson. He was really impressed with the front cover and explored it first. He has just turned six and likes to try to read so just needed a bit of help with it. He has this year got his own poly tunnel and has grown lots of vegetables and flowers. This made it very interesting for him. A beautifully written and illustrated book.
